State Standards and Testing

Tennessee Connections Academy is a certified public school. This means that students are required to learn all of the fourth grade math, reading, writing, science, and social studies standards developed by the Tennessee Department of Instruction.  Your child's attendance at LiveLesson is a critical part of their journey to master these standards. The mastery of these standards also requires significant monitoring from Learning Coaches. Please read through and become familiar with the 4th grade standards below.

Every student is assessed on their knowledge of the Fourth Grade Standards at our Spring in-person TCAP testing. Please visit the TNCA State Testing Hub for more information on testing. Below you will also find resources to help prepare your child for the test.
